Easy Graft Classic:
Synthetic bone material: 100% β tricalcium phosphate (βTCP):
β-TCP: progressive degradation of the βTCP leaving room for the regeneration of natural bone.
Total degradation of the ?TCP: between 9 and 15 months.
Easy Graft Crystal:
Synthetic bone material: 60% hydroxyapatite (HA) and 40% β tricalcium phosphate (βTCP):
β-TCP: slow degradation of the TCP increases porosity of the graft and facilitate bone formation.
HA: remains in the defect more than 2 years and serves as an osteoconductive matrix.
Difference between easy graft classic and crystal:
Easy graft classic: pure β-TCP. Fully resorbed after 9-15. The degradation and resorbtion is parallel to bone formation. Used for the cases where the bone is remodeled after grafting.
Easy graft Crystal: HA remains starts resorbing in 2 years. Used in big volume defects and in cases that needs preservation for long term. Easy graft crystal is used for long-term volume preservation
